Embroidery Digitizing in Onalaska, TX | Lakeside Ink & Threadz

Professional digitizing that converts your logo into a stitch file optimized for clean, crisp embroidery.

Before any logo can be embroidered, it needs to be digitized — converted from an image into stitch instructions that embroidery machines understand. Bad digitizing creates bad embroidery: thread bunching, registration issues, and logos that don't look like your original. At Lakeside Ink & Threadz, we provide professional digitizing that captures your logo accurately and stitches cleanly on the intended fabrics. Whether you're having us embroider your items or need a stitch file for another provider, we deliver digitizing that works right the first time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is embroidery digitizing?

Digitizing converts your logo from an image file into stitch instructions — telling the embroidery machine exactly where to place each stitch, in what order, and with which thread colors.

Why does my logo need to be digitized?

Embroidery machines can't read image files directly. They need a specific stitch file format that maps out the thread path. Every logo must be digitized before it can be embroidered.

Do I pay for digitizing every time I order?

No. Digitizing is a one-time fee. Once we create your stitch file, we store it and use it for all future orders at no additional digitizing cost.

What file format do you need for my logo?

We accept JPG, JPEG, and SVG files. Vector files (SVG, AI, EPS) produce the cleanest results, but we can work with high-resolution images too.

Can you provide just the stitch file without embroidery?

Yes. If you have your own embroidery equipment or another provider, we can deliver just the digitized stitch file.

How long does digitizing take?

Most logos are digitized within 24-48 hours. Complex designs may take longer. We'll provide a mockup before stitching so you can approve the design.

Frequently asked

What is embroidery digitizing?+

Digitizing converts your logo into a stitch file the embroidery machine can read — telling it where to put each stitch, what thread color, and what density. It's a one-time $45 fee per design and we keep the file on hand for all your future orders.

Why is digitizing a separate cost from the logo design?+

Because it's a separate craft. A digitizer translates artwork into thousands of individual stitch instructions for the machine. Done well, it determines whether your logo looks crisp or fuzzy on a finished polo, hat, or jacket.
